Welcome to Skillupsoccer! Skillupsoccer was founded by Edward Commodore-Mensah, a passionate sports coach based in Bedford, Bedfordshire. With years of experience, including time at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, I specialise in helping individuals enhance their footballing skills. My approach combines technique, confidence-building, and fun, ensuring that training is enjoyable while also effective. Whether you're a budding athlete or looking to take your game to the next level, I provide tailored programmes that cater to your unique needs. My mission is to build your technical abilities through engaging games and exercises that make training something to look forward to.
At the core of my coaching philosophy is the belief that training should never feel like a chore. I focus on creating a supportive and exciting environment where all players can thrive. I have worked with numerous individuals across different age groups, helping them unlock their potential and achieve their goals. I have players who have gone on to professional academies such as Northampton Town and Peterboroug United. I have players who have recently attended trials with MK Dons, Leicester City and Cambridge United! My sessions address various aspects of football, from skill development to mental resilience. I am dedicated to fostering not just better athletes but well-rounded individuals who gain confidence and long-lasting skills. We firstb met Ed when he was coaching a session in Clapham. we took soke details and joined in with a session not long after. My son Tommy absolutely loved it!! Anybody can put a set of cones down and charge you money to coach kids football but with Ed the moment you meet him yo9u know he isn't doing it for the money but for the joy of seeing kids improve and do well.
